Todd Spaulding

Vice President/General Manager, Medicare Business, Government Programs

As the Vice President/General Manager for Medicare Business of OptumHealth Care Solutions, Todd Spaulding is responsible for leadership of our Public Sector Medicare business.

Todd has worked for Optum for ten years and during that time he has held a number of senior roles in operations, product and business development within the organization across our Decision Support, Wellness, Care Management and Medicare/Medicaid markets.

Prior to joining Optum in May 2003, Todd was director of marketing and business development for Josten's. Throughout his career, he has held various management positions, including financial management and accounting, sales management, marketing, business development and pricing.

Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University and his Master of Business Administration for the University of St. Thomas. He serves on the National Business Group on Health Obesity Board. He lives with his wife and four children in Annandale, Minnesota.
